Vail Peewee A Schedule and Results
The Vail Peewee A Team in 2000-2001 played a very interesting schedule. Even though we were an “A” team, we scheduled quites a few games against much better competition (AA). Even though we didn’t win many of those AA games, the kids learned a lot and rose to the level of the competition. We won the Colorado State Peewee A championship in March, 2001. After playing many games at the “AA” level, we felt very comfortable in the Peewee A state championship. It is alike a baseball player warming up with a weighted bat, then swinging a lighter bat at the plate. See “Schedule a mix of competition levels”.
